Info:
Time to let go of my extra stash of Kefs...

I have 5 total. 4 used. 1 unused. Someone could make a killer home audio setup with these mated to a nice midwoofer.

These are truly some of, if not the best Concentric mids made. Kef's engineering on these is superb. They are intended to be used as a midrange/tweeter and most of the models using these drivers employ a 500hz crossover to keep cone motion minimal.

I have tested these drivers myself and you can find my test data here:
Kef: http://medleysmusings.com/kef-r300-midrange-drive-unit-testing/

Basic measurements are as follows:
~130mm OD
~110mm mounting diameter
~90mm mounting depth

Condition:

These were high passed at 500hz on the midrange and about 2.8khz on the tweeters. They also come with the round trim ring.

Asking Price:

(4) Used - $250/each shipped, CONUS.
(1) BNIB - $285shipped, CONUS.
(3) trim rings - $20/each shipped, CONUS.
Edit 02/21/15: $325 shipped for a pair!

That's less than half of what Seas wants for their lower-performing coaxial driver.

Email: hardisj(at)gmail(dot)com and PM are fine.

A couple shots of a used pair I have.

Man, I really wish I had a car I could fit these in. They do wonderful things in your car.

Given how hard these are to get your hands on it's a little surprising to me that you're selling any of them!

thanks, dude!

yea, these aren't speakers that any Joe can just walk out and buy. It took me some maneuvering to get the sets I got. I'd keep them if I could afford to. But I gotta pay for my HT chairs somehow.

If someone were to make bookshelves out of these, do you have an idea of enclosure size and porting?

Indeed. These are meant to be midrange and tweeter. The cone and surround are designed as a waveguide for the tweeter. You don't want to put a waveguide in to (much) motion because it interferes with the tweeter response.

I cross mine at 350hz. That's the lowest I'd cross them.

these would be cool in a Design Acoustics approach, bookshelves with a downfire 8" woofer...

I can ballpark mounting diameter at about 110mm.

But, I'll measure them tonight and post back the numbers when I get a chance.
ha! I was spot on with the mounting diameter, lol...

I measured the drivers and got the following:
~130mm OD
~110mm mounting diameter
~90mm mounting depth
