Additional info:

Cool thing about it is that there is independent input sensitivity for each channel. It would make a nice tweeter amp in an active system. It could even run a basic set of two-way components or a small sub as well.

*edit: After cleaning it up, the chassis looks much better. You can see one significant scratch on the edge of the top fin, and the bottom is chipped in places, but the inside is immaculate.

It appears to be in good exterior condition, just some dust which can easily be removed.
You should have asked a little more than $80 shipped for it, but too late to change that now. Should make someone very happy, especially at that price.

For those who are concerned about the dubious reputation of the sx series:
A bad batch of parts caused a certain percentage of sx amps to blow the very first time when powered up which caused a dent in Soundstream's popularity.

However, the sx amps still alive today are more than fine and just as reliable as any other amp, with the benefits of crossovers, 5 volt gains and as mentioned by the seller the separate left and right gains, as opposed to the original Refs.
Keep in mind that the 10.0 which stil fetches huge amounts of money today, is from the same s / sx series with the same higher failure rates, but as it is not called 10.0s or 10.0sx they are not treated as such by unknowing buyers. Same goes for these, those alive today are very reliable.

Good luck with sale. Don't drop your price, good amp for a good price.

these s/sx line of amps are verry nice, indeed. i have small collection, and keep an eye out to snatch up any broken ones i can find. there is actually one other thing- the power supply section can be beefed up successfully to handle serious abuse.
