Sorry for late reply, I've had a busy day at work today.

Victor, the tubes should be "12 AT7" model. Or at least that's what TRU has on the specs for the amp, and its all original. So as long as the manufacturer spec is correct, that's what kind of tubes they are.

I'd rather not take it apart if I dont have to. But if you're interesting in buying then I can at least take the front plate off and take some pictures and put them up here :)

tha`s fine, manual info is sufficient. BTW there is no taking apart to see/roll tubes, just a little window covering them.
12at7 is popular tube with tons of substitutes available both old stock and current production.
if anything this info should help to sell it quicker .
Now I want it, damn. I have a few absolutely crazy good 12au7.
Ohh BTW tubes socketed so replacements would be a breeze 20 seconds.
Another positive moment.

must be 12BH7not 2BH7, can be substituted successfully with 12AU7 . two tubes on the left is 12BH7, they taller than the rest of 12XX7 family. I use 12BH7 in place of 12AU7 often with great results.

Ah I see, thanks for the info! I've heard of some people swapping the tubes on this, or other amps before, but on this particular copper with great results. I haven't tried it myself, but sounds worthwhile.

Good to know they can be easily changed, I haven't looked into that, but that's a pretty awesome design, maybe I'll try that on my other one sometime.

Anyways, thanks again for the info victor.

Another plus of this amp, it has easily upgrade-able tubes!

WOW don't think I've seen one of these since the ECA days.

Victor, which tubes in your collection would you install?
I`d try them all since it`s such an easy proposition.
most likely RCA 12BH7 or Clear tops 12au7 for driver tubes and amperex bugle boy or telefunken for preamp tubes.
I`m still a bit confused about topography of that amp though.
4ch means that every triode section in double triode tubes used for each ch.
therefore all section of each tube works as preamp not driver.
most likely just marketing mumbo-jumbo. Unless tubes were selected that way specifically for active setup and tweeter get one type of tube while midbass use another.
Where information on tubes came from? Tru manual?

Isn`t that funny how we push it to another member just not to buy it ourselves?

I want it but I have absolutely no use for it unlike DBLevel.:p
