I read people talking about getting the gains right, as I have a combined amp/dsp - Helix Match M5DSP is there anything I need to do in regards to setting gains?
My factory head unit connects to the amp/dsp via high level input. The only gain control I have touched is the one on the main page, one per channel which is supposed to be for level matching, I have used it to bump up the sub channel slightly to match the volume of the other speakers/hit the curve on the rta.

There is also an option to increase levels on the input channels screen, should this be left alone or can it be boosted to increase volume also:
