Grills for the CA18RNX?

Are there any grills out there that will fit the mounting hole pattern of the CA18RNX? At this point in my project, I'd like SOMETHING that doesn't look ghetto to put over them to protect them... I made my own grills for my Kodas, when I had them in, but I want something nicer for these, and something that protects them better.

I almost kick them almost every time I get in or out of the car. Door pods in a 92 Paseo = massive.

I suggest we start a "sticky" thread about drivers of interest to the diy mobile audio group, and list companion grills that fit

I know CDT makes grills for the 07 7"ers Looks like they have similar hole spacing.

The grill set for the the 18W (which obviously is also a 7"). Seems like the same hole spacing, but I'M NOT SURE.
You can order them from Madisound.

Yeah, I am looking for some grills for my L18rnx/p drivers and my W15cy-001 excel drivers.

You have to email them, it's not on their website. I think the description is Scan-speak 18w/grill. A set is $28 or so.

Ah... great info, i was hunting for these myself as well before i get myself a pair of SEAS woofers

Now still undecided on CA18 or G18

Try here, they have some "generic" grilles for 6.5" drivers as well as other sizes...cheap too.

Nothing yet... I'll volunteer to buy the Madisound grills once I get my next paycheck.

did u ever get the Scan Speak grills? i need something for my CA18's before 1 of the kids sticks a foot in a cone.

well im ordering the Scan Speak grills. i had a co-worker stick his muddy foot right into the cone on 1 of my ca18's. no damage thank god. just a lovely mess to clean up.

so ill let you Seas users know how they work out.

My Rainbow grille fits the Seas W18NX perfectly.
