Grounding Question(s)

I'm rewiring my system with 1/0 gauge and I have a question or 2. I put a lot of stuff in my cart at the knu koncepts site.....1/0 power and ground wires, 4 ga wire coming off power and ground disto blocks( which I also added in the kart) rcas, speaker wires, etc.
After studying that for 2 hours I took a peek at their 0 ga amp kit. It doesnt have a ground dist block but instead, has a 2 foot 0 ga wire to run from the battery to the chasis. Therefore you would have to ground the amp wires to the chasis instead of a dist block. Which would be better? I know that by the time I run all my wiring, I would have laid down all of my sound deading material, so running a ground dist block would be easier.
Which leads me to my next question. What is the longest I can run my 0 ga ground, from the body to the dist block? What's the longest I can run my 4ga from the dist block to the amps? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as your amps are in somewhat close proximity, its easiest to run the grounds to a distro block, then a single *short* run of 0awg from the distro to the chassis. Whats important is a quality grounding location (clean, bare chassy metal). A bad ground will create unwanted noise and possible ground loops.

i wouldnt go more than a total of 4 feet including from chassis to block then from block to amps. that should be the absolute longest. 3 feet if possible is what is recommended but since you have a few amps and select locations to ground the distro block then you might be able to stretch it to the 4 feet max. but keep them as short as possible because that is your lifeline basically haha.
yeah, I was trying to keep the 0 awg as short as possible. I've been using the bolt/hole out of the jack mount and figured it would be longer than desired to the back wall. I havent deadend the wall, will do so in a couple of days, but it would be easier if I went from that location. Also, I am waiting on my new sub amp to come in. I didnt know how much room it would take up, so I was thinking of the possibility of having to run the other amp on the other side of the seat belt bracket. That's what had me concerned about total length. It will all work out. I'll post progress and finished pics when I'm done, thanks for the help.
Also, I don't know if you're familiar with the knu wire, but for the power(20ft) I was thinking of going with the 1/0 KLMX over the Kolossus Fleks Kable. Would that be a mistake?

Your total length will be fine. I have 2 amps on the left side of the seatbelt tower and my mono amp on the far side, ground block is right under the window motor. Its been perfectly fine for me. Each amp has <2ft ground run to the distro block then about 7" of 0awg from the block to the chassy bolt.
