Okay guys this is kind of a strange one but we'll see what you guys think. I've been working on the install in my Lexus for a while and just added the NVE-P1 to my W505. I mounted the hands free mic on the a-pillar and it works okay but not great. I've noticed in some cars that they have a grill assembly in the headliner by the drivers head which can be for bluetooth hands free or onstar. What I like to do is try and find a tan grill to put in my headliner and mount the mic to the back of it so it's not noticeable. Anybody's car out there right now have something like this ??? Bing's thread on the C6 got me thinking this as he had to remove the bezel and the mic for the a-pillar. This assembly would work for me, but (1) only comes in black (2) is a little larger than I prefer. Here's the pics of it. The mic and bezel are at the top of the pillar. Open to suggestions.
