$25 shipped... you can't make it for that... not & factor your time...

If you don't have a JL 13w-whatever or an Alpine SWX-1242d... they can work on LOTS of 10-12" woofers...

Looks nice, i dont think you can go wrong.

That's what I thought. I made something somewhat similar for my AA Arsenal 12 several years ago but it obviously doesn't look as nice as this. I'm thinking about buying two of the 10" 3-spoke version(in clear) for the pair of Dr Hsu-designed Atlantic Tech subs in my HT.

I had never seen these before and I thought they looked really nice. The guy obviously put some thought into the clean installation design.

BUMP

For anyone who didn't see these the first time. This board is so active that threads get buried quickly. I just thought they were a helluva deal for a nice-looking industrial-style sub grill. I still can't believe the price with the price of aluminum rod these days. As has been mentioned, you couldn't make them yourself for that price.

The problem I see with "grills" like this is that they don't protect the sub very well.
If that's all you are looking for, more power to ya.

I thought you guys were joking at first.

Parts Express:12" Bar Grill Black

Never been here before?
I'm not talking about the ones at the top of the page....the ones which are identical the grills sold at PE. Scroll down for the type that I'm talking about...the custom-made grills with aluminum rods.

This is what I'm talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350158729429

dogstar: How much protection do you need? I have a self-made three-bar grill on the AA Arsenal 12 in the spare tirewell of my '98 CRV and it protects it quite well.
