Clip indicator ? Never went to it for setting up a system. Generally we do not move any jumpers or pots.

 

This is my first Helix, so maybe its new with the MK2. But, there is a clip indicator light and the setup instructions have you go through a process to set the sensitivity through a combination of jumper and pots.

If you are not using speaker inputs or the aux input (j and k), there is no need to change the jumper. It's easy to damage the unit changing jumper, so if you don't need to, don't change them.

If your input max is blow 2 volts, I would use the j and k inputs.

The gain increases with counterclockwise rotation.

I don't use the clip light, so I don't know how sell it works. It will go red when you over drive the channel.
