So I have my Helix P-SIX MK2 power save mode on set to 300s. When I open the car door, the amp powers up and as long as I start the car and music is playing there is no problem. However, if I just open the door and then do something else, the amp shuts off (as it should) after 5 minutes but never comes back on. I have to shut off the car lock the doors and wait 10 minutes.
Is there some other setting I need to have a particular way for the amp to come back on? or should I just disable the power save mode?

Weird. Have you tried switching sources on the head unit - switch to FM and then back?

Edit: Jesus lock the doors and wait ten minutes? What kind of nazi stuff they got running in that Camaro? Sounds like a canbus issue.

I think the problem was between the steering wheel and the seat.
I had the Main Input signal detection/priority set to disabled in the signal management tab. Since I only have RCA inputs (optical on the Zen doesn't work) it never detected anything.
