I am building an enclosure for an RE Audio SX18.Port specs given to me by Greg Carolus at RE is 82.5 square inches x 18" long. I would like to run Aeroports. Can anyone help transferring this over to a round port spec?

alright folks I need some help to see if my math is screwed up. My square port specs are as follows:
18.5" height
5" width
12.75" length
for a total of 92.5 sq in of port
Tune of 39.5hz

Nevermind 6x3.14=18.84sq in. I would have to run 5- 6" ports.

Yet when I use my port calculator, to tune to 39hz it should be 6" x 3.16"

did u factor in the enclosure volume difference of using an aero port versus a slot port?

82 inches of round port is more than a 10" pipe. Do the Aeroports flared end make a sub think it is seeing that final area for the whole length of the port?

yes, but if you have (5) 6" ports your length will go crazy. dont forget that all that port volume has to be subtracted from box volume. (5) 6" ports that are 12" long would take up 1 cuft of space all by themselves.

also area of a circle is pi x r^2 not pi x diameter

what volume is the box? getting 87 sq in of port area is pretty hard to do with round ports.
