how old is it? to my knowledge MCA never made a MC1.1000

they made:

MC1.1100
MCD1000 (older model)
MC1000D (older model)

they also made a PR1x1000

what does it look like? kinda curved top peice or does it have a flat top piece with a blue lighted window

either way, they are really good amplifiers and most of them do more wattage than rated.

Here's the link Class D MClass Amplifiers from Memphis Car Audio

It's flat and has a blue window on top !

275w - 4ohm
550w - 2ohm
1100- 1ohm

Ive had this amp for about 3 years but only used it at 4 ohms haha , i just wanna know it it's legit cuz I've had bad experiences with amps that don't put out what the say they do. I've heard Memphis is legit I just don't want to buy 2 10's 600 rms each if my Memphis can't push it !

Let ohms law help you dictate your answer...

EI=W

Volts x amps = watts

12v x fuse rating in the amp = possible output before the fuse blows.. pretty simple..

Fuse limits can be stretched to a point, but it's really the final say..
