I am getting ready to put a system in my car,04 honda accord ex-L 4 door. I have been trying to find the best set up for my low budget. I want good sound quality, not after great competition level, but something i can enjoy on my daily commute to work. I have an old pioneer premier head unit i can use it has 9 band paramtrc eq and manually adjustable time align. So im ok there i can tweak till im happy
. What i have been looking at is running ppi p65c3 for front stage and p650.2 to power them. I can get them for a great proce right now. I dont know if there is a better option for under $250. I have considered polk mm 2 ways or jbl gto 2 ways, just dont know what any of these sound like. I listen to rock, classic rock, almost exclusively. I dont want it to be to bright though either. Hear alpine type r didnt care for there signiture good sound just a bit bright for me probably could have been tuned to sound good but they were in a sound board. I cant listen to the others nobody in my area has them to demo. So i would like some opinions from someone who has heard these options or maybe a suggestion i havent listed, with in the low budget price range. Also i will be using to jbl gto 10s with jbl gto amp in sealed box in trunk. One last thing i haven't tried to figure out placement yet for three ways. I would like to keep them together in the doors off axis. Has any played with one of these cars before have any suggestions for placement 2 or 3 ways. I dont want to use the stock tweeter location facing up at windshield. Thanks everyone.
