okay...i am running a KDC 7017 to a rockford 551x...i left my stock speakers in rear connected to deck power...i have to fade towards the front to reduce the sound level of the rear fill...i would like to be able to set the fader flat so i dont lose volume on the sub...

what should i do or use to tone them down some? a cap or coil? i like having rear fill...so i dont want to disconnect them...

any point to a website to buy them is much appreciated also...

I used to use those white square ceramic resistors for that, they were 5 or 10watts from radio shack. I forget the value though and don't have them handy. Just put them inline and they quiet them down. I'll look around. You can also use a home Lpad volume control, like you would to set volume in another room. Then you can control it. Otherwise run the sub off the fronts if it fades that way, or run the rear to front speakers and keep those all the way on.
