Hello,
I am interested in the Hertz HX 250 D with grill(HGR 250). Unfortunately there are no dealers near me. Also would like to source a matching single channel amp. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

They are sold locally by Spade Kreations. They are located on the NW side of Cincy. Here's what he just recommended for my car.
Hertz HSK-163.4 3 way component set (front)
Hertz HCX-130.4 2 way coaxial pair (rear)
Hertz HDP-5 5 channel amplifier
Hertz HRC sub level controller
Hertz ES-250.4 10" sub x2 or ES-200.4 8" sub x 2 Depth permitting

Only issue I see is that you are shy a channel pair. The passive crossover on the hsk163 have the 3" and tweet as a channel and the 6.5" as another channel. The rear coaxial is a channel and the mono sub out is the last of it. 2 channel pairs up front, a channel pair for rear and a sub is 7 channels. Unless they are planning to run the coaxial off the head unit. Everything else looks good.

I am coming to Columbus in three weeks. If I haven't done anything by then, I will look you up at Columbus Car Audio and see what you recommend. I am actually driving the Boxster up there for some mechanical work.

I'm not with columbus car audio. They are the local shop I had by BRZ's system installed at. The main location on Morse rd has a hertz display you can listen to. The Reynoldsburg location has a diyma'er working there. Ask for Don at the Reynoldsburg location.

If you're looking to have Spade install everything, I would look elsewhere. They will do a rush job on your car and cut corners to take care of the dope boy cars they do. If you're just looking to purchase, I would still shop around and get some prices.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't tell you how frustrating it has been not to find a shop in Cincinnati that comes recommended. Have you had any good experiences?

Audio Advantage on Princeton-Glendale Rd is carrying Focal and mosconi amps now, but I don't know about their installs. I would drive up to Columbus car audio and check them out since Spade's is the only one that has Hertz around here, personally won't step a foot back in that shop along with a few other people I know. It just sucks that most shops around here only carry RF, JL, Kicker, and then only the lower models so you have no idea what the better sets sound like.
