I'm planning to do a 2way setup in a old-school merc 560SEC. Im planning to run ML280 tweeters and ML1600 midbass in kick panels. It takes effort to remove ECU and standing brake, but I think it is by far the best location.

Here is an example how it was done in a similar car.

I have no idea, how to determine how big enclosures should i make? My first choice would be to go sealed.

Parameters can be found here.

Help anyone please :confused:

If i use this woofer box calculator http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/Calculator/Box/

And parameters that are on official spec list:

Vas = 6.82 lts
fs = 71 Hz
Qts = 0.41
Qtc = 0.707

If gives me 0.12 cu ft or 3.46l box size. If i'm using data from the Kippel test on this website

Vas = 11.4264 lts
fs = 67.48 Hz
Qts = 0.4079
Qtc = 0.707
I'm getting a larger box at 0.2 cu ft or 5.7 liters.

Am i on correct trac?
