Very intresting idea for a ribbon like tweeter, Not traditional in its application, but works the same way that a traditional ribbon tweeter works, and uses the same elements, but dispertion and such are different.

Just though this was intresting, any opinions, anyone tested it?

What type of sound differnces can be had from using Kapton film/ribbon over say an Aluminum or Copper ribbon, besides price, meaning more sound characteristics?

I've been lookin at some of the other planars as cheaper alternatives to the LCY ribbons.

20 watts max power handling with 88db Sensitivity(2.83v/1m) That gonna be loud enough? I'd think there's better options.
