Alright, I'm a car audio noob so please dont pick on me, I'm still learning. :)

Anyway, I'm looking to get a decent sub 10/12ich under $150 bucks and I've finally narrowed it down to these two.

Polk Audio MM1240
Diamond Audio TX124

Which one is a better choice ?:surprised: I see a lot of guys complementing both of them. I just need a clear crisp sound. (one of the reasons why I prefer a 10" to a 12:D)

Help me make my decision :)

Thanks in advance !

Here are the links for the products,

Never heard Diamond subs so can't really compare but MM are defiantly not as deep physically which means easier install/smaller enclosure. To some it's very important as space in some trunks is too small to sacifize while others don't care about space taken up by a sub.

Hope someone will add some info as to actuall sound comparrision :)

If the new TX are anything like the older M3/C3/D3, you will definitely be impressed. They are very musical subwoofers, with some great output capabilities.

i owned the POlk, and it was a very nice sounding sub...did everything i asked it to do.

I am surprised you were able to nail the selection down to just 2 out of the hundreds of subs available.

Any insight as to how you arrived at those 2?
