In general, the same way you would in a house. It's hard to give a more detailed answer without more specifics on the yacht and what you're looking to accomplish.

I think it depends on the yacht

If power is 12v like a car then the best is probably to stick with all car audio products

If you have 120v like at home then a home receiver is all you need or depending on how good you want it to sound a home pre/pro then home amps.

It really depends on how much money you want to spend, how large the theatre room is, how you want it to sound and how much juice is available to power the amps.

most yachts will have 120v setup, if its truly a yacht. So any good home theater setup, mount everything down to floors and walls, and tada youre done.

It will be 120volt. Install a high end home theatre receiver, some bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer, the biggest HD TV you can fit, and you will be golden... You probably can't fit anything bigger than bookshelf speakers, but you should be able to hide a large 12inch subwoofer in one of the lower cabinets then modify the cabinet door into a speaker grill.

It might be beneficial to use rack mount equipment, otherwise might be hard to secure home equipment in a cabinet.

I see lots of in wall speakers on boats, might be a worthwhile compromise on space, but in wall speakers are generally a compromise on audio quality.
