Anyone have any experience with 2023-2024 Honda platform, particularly with the CR-V hybrid with Bose. If there an interface available or is hi-level the only solution to interface to a dsp/amp combo. I'm running blind here and plan to maybe install a small setup if possible.

My sons civic was base audio. I only changed speakers. My daughter has a crv black edition. I always thought it would be a good candidate for a system. But she is a turn key girl.
will be interesting to see what u do.

Ok so I haven't even looked at the vehicle in depth. Barely rode in it for like 50 feet when my wife dropped me off to my truck. Crutchfield is showing 12 speakers. I'm counting
A-pillar tweets
Front door midbass
Possible center channel??? via some random youtube guy
Rear door midbass and tweet/mid
D pillar mids
Rear sub, possible 8"

I'll need some ideas on what to hunt down. Gonna hopefully give the audio system a listen to see what's lacking

If you have to go high level it will be similar to mine. I had to sum front woofer/tweeter/sub to get a full range signal. In mine the centre ch had all the voice promp and navigation voices. I lost that prior to going to the axxess kit.

The sub signal had a HPF in the 30s so the low lows where non-existent. The signal also had some EQing that hat to be fixed, so input EQ was needed. The tweeter was also wired in reverse polarity from the factory.

But like I said I'm not familiar with new Bose. You'd have to test the signal of each speaker to test it out. But if you can snatch signal prior to the amp, that would be best case scenario.

I am not a %100 sure the CRV is the same as the Civic but probability is very high and here is the catch.

1) the base model Civic head units have a regular screen and body integrated into one design while the upper model's like the Touring have a floating design head unit and while the screen is in front of you the head unit body is right behind the center console behind the usb connection ports and heater knobs sitting vertically. mannnn is it a pain to get to.

think of doing all this + trying to get the auto shift knob off aswell I did it but took me hours(the manual si knob is way easier in this video)

2) for best use of dsp and amps obviously the best option is to get the signal directly off of the head unit and not the bose amp like I see alot do however the catch here is could there be a difference between the Civic USDM vs EDM or all Civic's vs CRV and other model Honda's I dont know but my head unit had a regular Hi level output and not SPDIF

3) if your going for OEM stealth looks and will use the existing A Pillars I would highly recommend tweeters that are capable of having good off axis response and that arent shrill etc.

4) I would definatley avoid the ******** of the multi speaker concept and wouldnt even hook up anything more than front Left,Right speakers at best maybe an addition of rearfill but thats all all the rest does nothing special to be honest, maybe but maybe the center for a 2 seat tune if your into that but I didnt like that either

please note I am speaking based off a EDM vehicle and not a USDM but the likelyhood of the identical design used is very high.

I have decided to make a plug and play harness for Bose amp just to keep it simple. I know the sound is already processed, but I want to keep it simple as the car is still new. It looks like civic, CR-V, Accord share the same wiring harness for Bose 12 speakers system. Based on this diagram https://www.civic11forum.com/threads/bose-system-wiring-diagram.4234/
I opted for Alpine R600s DSP which supports 6 high-level input and 8 High-level output.
The 6 inputs I choose are Subwoofer, center, FL + FR tweeters, FL + FR front doors.
The extra 2 channels on the output side will go to both rear doors.
The two rear satellite speaker lines will be left as is, connected directly to Bose amp.

I haven't had time to install them yet. Once I do, I will come back with updates.

The 16 pins plug is needed to turn on the Alpine DSP, so B14 wire is needed for that

This may help. These guys install aftermarket systems all the time in all types of Hondas, and the information applies to nearly ALL late model Honda vehicles, not just late model Hybrids..

In addition, the ANC module is usually a small silver metal box that's above/behind the glovebox door.

Center channel typically provides BT Call audio, NAV prompts, Warning Chimes...but you've got the vehicle on-hand to double-check this. If so, and it's your wifey's vehicle, you'll most likely want to retain it.

So, you'll want a DSP that has Input EQ & Mixing/Summing for at least 6 channels.

If you're using a HELIX DSP, you should be able to use the InputEQ & ISA (Input Signal Analyzer) to derive a full range signal, and then virtual channels and/or route the center channel as an automatic switching input to mix into the main L/R signal any time (or only when) center channel information/signal is present.

I think the Metra AXXESS AX-DSP-X OEM Interface (AXDSPX-HN2 or -HN3) would work on Previous MY Hondas, but it hasn't been specifically tested by Metra/Axxess on a 2024 CR-V Hybrid with Bose...though it still MIGHT work. Call them.

@ItsonlyaHONDA might have more info.
