Just as the title says how strong would a good midbass section be? Should you be able to feel it in your chest or whatnot? I'm looking at this from a SQ standpoint where midbasses go down to 60-70hz and kickdrums are centered in the midbass section, as right now i'm not getting that much kick, i think it may be my stock HU lacking the midbass region in its built in EQ but just as a reference for how strong a good midbass section should be.....

Mid/bass should be strong to 80hz. In a car you can usually go a bit lower due to cabin gain. But with a well integrated sub, you really don't need anything lower than 80-100hz Imho to feel that tight, punchy kick.
