IF I had the money those subwoofers would be MINE! I had a set of those in a '96 Escort Hatchback that ended up cracking the back window on while driving down the road combined with one of those old Phoenix Gold M amplifiers in a custom box.

Man if only you could wait till February or March I could save up,lol

Haha, Coolhand20th.......

You know, I have a Phoenix Gold M44 sitting here on my bench as well..... I am in the process of ordering and installing new caps before anything bad might happen. This amp will also be for sale.....

lol nah I just got a new mono block amplifier. If anything I would go with those subwoofers as I plan on buying a G-Body '84 Olds Cutlass in the next 4 years and will do nothing but old school stuff in it like those kinds of subs. Hoping to find a Clarion Pro-Audio CD deck from back then as well to put in it. I still kick myself for selling that beauty of a deck. It was in that Escort GT. I really should have kept all that stuff from back then I would be sitting on a pile of stuff that is worth money and would be useful in said build for that Cutlass.

Man, those bring back memories. I had a pair of He2 15s and an 800a2 back in the day, that was a really nice combo. If I hadn’t just finished a build, those RFP subs and the 800a2 would be mine!

Good luck with the sale, brother.

Thanks Reible84, this is some really great old school stuff; the perfect years of quality, durability, and tasteful design.

Lots of interest so far, but no one has fully committed yet to a purchase.

Please let me know if interested by sending me a PM and let’s make some deals.

Unfortunately, This cool stuff doesn’t help my arms work properly or my spine and legs feel better when it is sitting under the bed!

Man, if someone bought the 400.4 / 800a2 combo and could find one of these...that would be one epic old school amp setup.

If someone wanted to do a 3-way active front stage + subs, had a DSP, and didn’t care about L/R imaging on their front midbass they could do the following:

Parallel 4-ohm midbass woofers (500x1) on the 250.1; run 2-ohm mids (100x2) and 4-ohm tweets (50x2) on the 400.4; and run the sub stage on the 800a2 with both end caps. Just like the mounting configuration in the picture with a PBLink connecting the 250.1 and 400.4.

Someone who lives in FL should do that so I can drive to meet them and drool over their setup.

Adding one to the list above tonight....

Rockford Fosgate Power T10001BD

This one is in rougher shape than my other examples above... I will snap some pics tomorrow when possible....

This will also be very affordable for how many watts you get for the price!
