I have a pair of L8's for sale.. very good shape, minus a terminal that was re- glued.. and a "very" slight Dimple in one of the Dustcaps..

The ONLY reason I am selling these is to get a Pair of L6's for my new install because they are to Big for my Civic!

These are the Best of the Best when it comes to Car Audio Midbass...

I will add pics later tonight..

I have Many, Many references..

Asking 280 Shipped to your Door Via Usps with insurance..

Pm is key, Thanks!

ok, my Paypal is [email protected].

I took a specific pic of the re-glued terminal.. as you can see it looks fine.

I also have the original boxes for these as well.

as for the dimple it is so small that I doubt you can even see it in the pics.. I just don't want someone to not now exactly what they are getting!

the magnets are mark free, and please excuse the dust on the frames.
well, tonight is now tomorrow.. Buddy has not paid so who's next in line???
I cannot believe these are still for sale.... this is less than half Msrp, these are awesome speakers.. with slight signs of use.. and one reglued terminal.. well if they don't go today, I guess I'll make room for them in my car.
If I was sure I could fit them.....I'd snatch these up for sure. Free Bump!

Make room! Make room! You'll be glad you did.
clean em up a bit and get new pics
no? i just wanna see cleaned up pics before i consider buying them
How about this.. I have Scot Buwaldas Original L6s from his red 240. The drivers are 100% functioning, the only discrepancy is a small piece of the magnesium cast mounting flange was cracked off and epoxied back on. Other than that, the drivers are excellent functioning. If you are going to hide them, they can be mounted as is, I would caution the buyer to use washers with the screws to insure a solid mount. It's a good idea to do that with these drivers anyway as I have noticed that the recessed areas for the screws have a tendency to crack when over torqued..

If you want to display them, they would need to be touched up with paint. All the soft parts, suspension, cones, diffusers are perfect, just the baskets look a little rough..

I was looking to sell them and get L8s. You are looking to sell L8s and get the L6s. Why don't we just trade? I promise these are 100% in terms of functionallity. They have only seen use in Scots personal 240 showcase vehicle. Outside of that, they were never used. No popping, fizzing, farting hissing. Just 100% spectacular L6 sound..

Let me know!!

Eggz.

What's the difference between the Legatia and Legatia Pro? Is it the tweeter in the "Pro" comp set?

I have the L6, L4 and L1V2.. Is that why I don't have the "Pro"?

My L6s for your L8s? Square trade. I am looking to sell my L6s to buy L8s..

for now yes, they are working on a L3pro and a L6pro i believe

"The Legatia Pro™ L1 is a small-format, super high-end mobile audio tweeter. Continuing on in the tradition of exceptional tweeter manufacturing by Hybrid Audio Technologies, the Legatia Pro L1 is an articulate, detailed, and tonally-correct tweeter in a slightly larger diaphragm than its sibling, the Legatia L1. The Pro L1 is a light and transiently fast tweeter in a 25mm body that doesn’t suffer from typical "heaviness" in tonal quality, typically associated with damped, large-diameter dome tweeters, while having exceptional polar response, and still being small enough to install in typical locations within a vehicular environment. During our testing of the Pro L1, we wanted to be sure that this tweeter could be listened to for long listening sessions with no noticeable listener fatigue, and the mission was a huge success. The Pro L1 does an immaculate job of recreating tones well into the vocal and midrange frequencies, should the user decide to use an exceptionally low crossover frequency. The Pro L1 sets the new benchmark for car audio tweeters."

The Pro Tweeter is the only difference? I looked on the site and that's what I gathered.. The L6 is the L6 and the L8 is the L8.. The L1 Pro added to either set designates either an L6 Pro set or an L8 Pro set? Did I get that right?

Where the hell did the original poster go?

Dude, where are you? I have L6s that I want to trade for your L8s..

Yes, you got it right.
The only difference from a L631-3 and a L631-3 Pro is the tweeter.
L1v2 for the first one and L1 Pro for the second.
Well, there's also a second difference: Price.;)

Jorge.

Thanks Jorge.. I plan on running a 3 way active front stage so I see no need for the added cost of the Pro tweeters.. It is my understanding that the Pro tweeters have an ultra low usable bandwidth which makes them suitable for a 2 way front stage.. I have the L4s to pair with the L1V2's, I'll stick with those..

Can't wait to hear a complete HAT front stage with the L8's delivering that serious midbass that I am after..

Funny thing is, at the time I chose the L6's, I needed a midbass that was a bit light in the ass, was getting a rattling in my doors from excess midbass response from my previous quad 6.5" setup.. I couldn't rid myself of the intermittent buzz.

I chose the L6 because I heard that they were a slightly gun shy in the lower midbass dept.. (light in the ass)
A) This is not true.. Anyone that says that the L6s lack midbass is seriously mistaken. They actually make good midbass, especially considering their ability to play cleanly into the upper octaves.. I think the L6 L1 Pro combo would be a serious setup for anyone looking for a true 2 way front stage.
B) Now that I have solved the problem with the buzzing, I am ready for a stout midbass driver, I love impacting midbass and I hear the L8 is quite a performer..
C) I have a thing for keeping an all matching component theme, HAT 3 way front stage is the order for the day... Matching amps to power them..

Now if the OP would respond to my offer, which is to trade my L6s for his L8s, I can carry on with the task at hand :)
