Coywolves are canid hybrids of wolves and coyotes. They have recently become common in eastern North America, where they have been considered eastern coyotes, eastern wolves, or red wolves.

So has anything really changed in this thread no, but least wise the information is there and it is up to everyone to make their own conclusion! There has been a myth of a hybrid tree that eats people. In in 1878 Dr. Carl Liche witnessed a woman being eaten by a tree. He reported the events in the South Australian Register in 1881.

"Horror's fascination with the MEP began with the South Australian Register in 1881. They printed an account from 1878 by a certain Dr. Carl Liche that described a man-eating tree's attack of a young woman of the Mkodos tribe in Madagascar. Seeing as how Dr. Liche, the Mkodos tribe and the tree appear never to have existed, the story has since been assumed to be utter and complete bullshit."

"The earliest known depiction of carnivorous plants in popular culture was a case where a large man-eating tree was reported to have consumed a young woman in Madagascar in 1878, as witnessed by Dr. Carl Liche. Liche reported the events in the South Australian Register in 1881. The woman, pictured in an accompanying artwork, was supposed to have been a member of the Mkodos, a "little known but cruel tribe". The account has been debunked as pure myth as it appears Dr. Liche, the Mkodos, and the tree were all fabrications.[43]"

you gotta be faster than google to stay ahead of the curve. I came back to this thread expecting it to be derailed, but surprisingly still highly on topic.

and your hybrid you're looking for is actually a gene formation problem that causes gigantism, dwarism, wolf face disease (not looking it up don't care), etc.

and then there's the whole problem with a mind and your eyes. Your eyes take light and translate it into colors and shapes, and depth. But your mind can choose to interperet the data however it sees fit and if you happen to catch something out of the corner of your eye that you believe was a 10ft tall monster running through the snow, then by god your mind says it was, but your eyes never actually saw anything. You will see what you want to believe.

Yup, not to mention that where your senses miss information your mind just fills in the gaps.

HOOP SNAKES - This elusive creature can bite it's tale or tuck it's tale inside it's mouth in order to roll after it's prey. There was a avid naturist who put $10,000 up for the first person to show evidence that they exist!
