I want it to hurt, I wanna set off car alarms, I want to drive by people's homes and rattle pictures frames! I WANT A NOISE COMPLAINT!

Current build is
2- alpine type r 12 swr-d4
Power acoustik 5500.1d BAMF
Q Bomb ported encloure
Zero gauge wiring and a cheap touchscreen double din head unit. Also a 2 farad cap.

I have the subs wired down to 1 ohm and cant run the amp more than 1/4 of the way up on gain without substantial clipping. It sounds ok ish. I want more, I've been debating buying 4 american bass xfl 12s and building a proper SqFt enclosure but I am willing to listen to any opinions on this. Any help is great and I ty in advance for your time

Curious, but why? I mean, I'm all for a loud system, but I'd rather not piss people off and draw negative attention to myself.

That a great question. Idk I've just always wanted something loud and now I'm at a point where I can afford some nice equipment.

What made you choose these subs over something like the american bass xfls? Something in particular, I have never heard of them. I'm not saying they r bad I'm just asking ty in advance

Nothing wrong with the American Bass XFL especially if you want all out SPL for short money but Fi Audio makes some excellent subwoofers that are also made in the USA. SSA subwoofers have been around a long time and model well and the Evil is a known SPL beast. You can reach out to Aaron Clinton at SSA about the XFL and the SSA brand and how they compare. I’m leaving for DC very soon but when I get back in a week I could model them for you for comparison sake in BassBox Pro.

I’d start with a better quality amp(s). The Mmats amps give you huge power in a small, cool running package that should be pretty easy on your electrical system. While Type Rs will get loud, there are definitely other subs that will get crazy loud. Some even still sound good while doing it.

What suggestions for maps do you have?

But why?
There is an inherent pull in some percentage of population to be an Imam, precher, or other clerical leader to foist one's opinions on.
Why is this a problem Lou?

Maybe if I spoke to fellow for a few minutes, then I would be willing and eager to spend hours talking with the fellow.

If he wants his views and music propagated out, then I can only pray that his map system is some how not including places of modernity (which myself and other non-Neanderthals) prefer to frequent.
