Just shot Don at sound deadener showdown an E-mail to pick his brain on what goes where and how much do I need. I have the overall concept down since I studied Musical acoustics and I do have a professor here that I am sure would be willing to lend a listening ear. The fun part is installing it all.. The back seat is already sitting in my office.:D

I'm looking forward to your build. While mine is completely different I also hope to get at least one rookie competition in next year; we shall see. Good luck!

Fast response from don! If your thinking of ordering from him this is what he need's. Thanks for the help don looking forward to placing the order!

Chad,

If you'll give me the following measurements I can estimate what it will take to treat your Optima and describe how I would treat each area:

1) Height and width of front door exterior sheet metal.___________________
2) Height and width of front door interior trim panel._____________________
3) Height and width of rear door exterior sheet metal.____________________
4) Height and width of rear door interior trim panel._____________________

5) Height and width of the kick panel/front foot well outer sides.______________

6) Width of the floor (include the sides and top of the center tunnel if there is one and the height of each outer sill).____________________________
7) Distance from as far up the firewall as you can reach to the front edge of the front seats._____________________________________
8) Distance from the front edge of the front seats to the front of the base of the platform for the back seat.___________________________

9) Height and width of the vertical riser running from the floor to the platform the back seat sits on.______________________________
10) Length and width of the back seat platform.______________________

11) Length and width of the roof._________________________
12) Length and width of the sun roof (if any)._______________________

13) length and width of the rear deck.____________________________
14) Height and width of the C-Pillars_____________________________

15) Length and width of the trunk floor._______________________________
16) Depth and diameter (depth, length and width, if not circular) of spare tire well.________________________________
17) Length and width of the trunk lid._______________________
18) Height and width of the rear quarter panels.______________________

Drivers are in the stock location at the moment. But I am adding Exodus Anarchy's in the kicks. The sound stage is right above the head unit with great R to L separation. Adding the mid bass to the kicks and doing some on Axis tweeters will finish the front stage and should bring my sound stage out past the windshield.

Lol @ drake looking at your build now. The system will be active once Alpine release's their new Processor next year. For the time being I am using the amps cross overs.

Don't those blue LED's in your dash bug your eyes when driving? I would have chosen red myself. It is commonly accepted as a fact that red light doesn’t damage your night vision as much as white light.

Do you need a vector or raster image of the Alpine Type R logo?
or
What file format are you needing it to be?
