I love this forum, read it all the time...

I had 2 pairs of ID xs65 component speakers professionally installed in my front and rear doors. Everything is connected and wired correctly. Two sets are not working correctly. It sounds as if the woofer is only playing high frequencies with no mid bass and very quiet. Did I really receive two defective sets out of two brand new pairs? My rca cables and wires are correct. I've spent over $3000 in the past 4 months. Finally added the 80prs to complete it. Any ideas what might be causing this issue? Please help me.

Also, the tweeter does not play sound. This has to be a crossover issue, right?

The crossover is set on the 80prs. Amp crossover is off. The 80prs does it better. There's two sets doing this. If the woofer was blown, then the tweeter should still play, but it's not. I just don't get it.

Ho do you "know" that everything is wired correctly?

can you wire the ID mid directly to the inout speaker wires to the XO? Meaning disconnect the wire at the input of the passive and disconnect the speaker from the output of the passive, and connect those two wires?

I am going to guess the the XO jumpers are messed up.
