I first want to say how helpful and knowledgable the members on this forum are. That being as it is, I am at my wits end trying to figure out what sub/amp choice to make.

I have a 2006 Tundra double cab so the sub will go under rear seats. Choices are limited given depth available. Thought the best choice was an Alpine SWR-T10 slim sub. Have not heard it but others tout it as sounding as good as regular type R's.

After reading the thread about the Alpinr 843D's, I am hoping they are a possible fit. I would prefer 2 8's vs. 1 10".

Then comes choosing the amp(s). I have a Pioneer AVN4300 HU. I want to install focal Kr2's for the front using factory door and a pillar locations.

My problem is deciding on an amp with SQ for the front components since I am leaning towards a PDX ? to drive the sub(s).

Amp mounting space is limited. Still I would consider a 5 channel amp if the ability to power the entire system with respectable SQ is within reason. The shop I am working with carries Alpine, Audison Arc and can order JL.

I would appreciate any information I could get from some of you who talk fluent car audio. Thanks in advance.

not real big on those slim subs. they have very limited xmax and power handling. a good study pair of 8" would outperform it.

out of those the arc audio or the JL. the JL have a couple nice 5 channels you could use.

when you say space is limited, what do you mean? height? depth? width? all?

Depth. From what I understand from other tundra sub enclosure builds, I may have 4.5 maybe 5". But according to Jim Walters the 843's do not need any backspacing.
