I've tried all the recommended procedures I could find but I still can't get the damn thing to work. I get so far and it says you must close Firefox but when I do it just stops there. Any tricks of the trade I can try? Thanks!

I've noticed that trying to install flash through firefox doesn't work. You need to go to the adobe flash player website directly and download and install it that way. Remember to close firefox when you install it.

I tried that numerous times but it didn't work :(

Firefox, unlike IE... will continue to run and monitor the internet in the back ground...

Re-start your computer, CTRL+ALT+DELETE and "END PROCESS" all unneccesary programs. INCLUDING Firefox.

(Now go and use IE to upload the Flash Install -- if you havent already--Then shut down IE too)

Install the Flash update.

Done.
That worked perfectly and thank you very much! :)
