JBL 305P MkII 5" Powered Studio Monitors are $99 Each at Sweetwater

These are the updated versions of the JBL LSR-305 monitors and make a nice little home audio reference system.

so what kinda receiver would feed those? the plugs are wierd looking :p

I have the 1st gen version of the 305s and they sound GREAT. I also have a powered Velodyne sub... highly suggest getting a sub with these. maybe not the JBL one, but find a powered sub... you won't regret it!

also, I use a Behringer UMC404HD as a "receiver" for my computer, so I'm using XLR outs, but you can get 1/4" to RCA or XLR to RCAs and connect it to anything with L/R RCA outs.

Thanks for the heads up on these. Yeah, Amazon's deal is for the 1st Generation, but that's still a fantastic value. Grab the newer 2nd Generation 305P MK II's from Sweetwater if you can for the same price, otherwise you still can't go wrong with the 1st Gen for that price.

I bought the 306P MkIIs when they were on sale at BH Photo for $179/pair. They are excellent.
