Are there any differences between these 2 versions of the JBL GTI sub?

No, aside from appearance.

Spec-wise, they are rated the same. The build quality on the top ones, and supposedly the middle ones you didn't picture with "4000w" on the dust cap was supposed to be better, being built here while the bottom ones are built in China. I've run all three styles with no noticeable differences in output, quality, etc. Someone told me the tinsel leads were woven in better on the MKI, and a few other minor differences, but nothing really worth hunting down one over the other, unless it's for aesthetic purposes.

Ive ran a mk1 15 the ones that say 5000w and now i have a mk2 12 the shiny dust cap, build quality looks the same and as said above dont sweat it they are the same output performance

if you get bored of the two fifteens let me know..I've got 6 cubic ft boxes ported tuned to 23 they'd thrive in..or if you want the design for them..you can do epic home theater.

I believe the older version are made of neo and newer version isn't

Nope, the later ones were made in China and there are cosmetic differences like state above.

Yep, just a few minor cosmetic differences. If anything, the older ones are supposed to be a bit better because they were manufactured here instead of China, and their leads are supposed to be a bit more heavily reinforced.
