WTF happened to the tranny? I had a 2011 Ford Fiesta that had its tranny rebuilt twice and then finally replaced all before $38K! Then I sold it for more money that I should have been able to because I was able to get the tranny replaced and Ford really screwed up on their Fiesta/Focus transmission (class action lawsuit any minute now, I'm sure). My 2011 and 2014 Silverado tranny (well, the driveline) clunks from time to time... normal play for the 4AWD in a GM but still... you'd think we'd have trannys figured out.

Bloody trannys are getting more and more complicated, too. Like the Chrysler 8-speeds coming out - man, I'd be deathly afraid of those things. That's a lot of complication.

Well, good luck. Good amps to have if you can keep them.
