Recently got my l4's installed and i hear a scratchy noise at a certain freq./ amplitude. Tried canned air with no avail.
I will work on getting the exact freq. range where there are issues.

Any suggestions or tips would appreciated in advance

They did... just looking for other opinions
Drew Snapp, Julian Ridi, Richard Salmon, Mark Stinger, and Bram all commented on the issue.
I have seen this very problem happen before with a speaker system getting test tones ran through it. It will only buzz at a certain freq and it is from a bad spot in the voice coil.
Send me an email @ [email protected] and I can get you started on a rma.

Sound like sound solution, no?

I`ve had similar problems with mid range drivers when only certain frequency resonated , usually that required reconning.
what exactly bad spot in the voice coil means? manufscturing defect of burned?

Weird part is i dont drive my speakers hard... HAT is taking care of me and that is important. When i was younger i had a kicker l7 that fudged up and they said it would cost more to fix than buy new. As of today HAT will always have my business.
Even though i want to try PA/ horns
