I took off my door panel a couple weekends ago to take some measurements. I found that the panel will not fit back on with the spacers needed to keep the mid magnet from the window. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations to limit how far the window will crank down? I'll only have to stop it from going down the last 3 or 4 inches. I though about putting some "stoppers" on both ends of the track but wasn't sure if there's a better way.

I have an '01 Sunfire.

Thanks!

I've seen people use hose clamps around the window tracks to create a stop.

God i hope you're a girl with that screen name...

Anyhow, some people move the window track towards the outer door skin with washers.
Good thing my manhood is measured by my board nicknames...

Is are manual windows typically stopped by a stop in the vertical rail, in the horizontal slider track or by the "ovular" gear that turns?

Thanks.
