I am looking for input on which amp to get to power a set of 8 ohm compression drivers on USD Waveguide bodies. Both amps are the same price and about the same cosmetic shape, both in good working order.

Linear Power 302IQ

Precision Power A200.2

I am running PPI amps already but they are both large and will look good together but probably not with a third smaller amp. If I get the A200.2 I may mount it together with the A1200 using a link and make one big amp.

The rest of the system is as follows:

Eclipse 7200MKII
PPI A1200 running (4) Eclipse 8062 midbass at 8ohm stereo
PPI 2350DM running (1) Alumapro M16

Let me know what you guys think and why.

Don't know about the LP but I have an old test of an A100 and an A300 / and both show a S/N Ratio of more than 105.5dB.
So I'm gonna say PPI coz horns need low noise floor.

PPI for matching amps and you will not hear that much difference if any from the PPi / LP

Actually on horns, being as efficient as they are, you will hear differences ;)
