.....that has adjustable x-over points for the fronts/rears (up to 4khz) and speaker level inputs

fronts and rears could be 50w + per ch. but the sub channel has to be at least 300w @ 4ohm

amp must be under $250...new or used :)


anyone has any recommendations?

If you can go a bit more I have a DLS A7 that may work for you

Beyond that, you may be better off with something like a refurb Kenwood X4r and some bridged 2 channel

I was looking into the 500/5 and perhaps staying with my Audiocontrol LC6

If you dont need variable crossover points for tweets and mids, the 500/5 is a nice amp.

Good power, and should be pretty close to what you need on sub channel, even though its rated a bit lower

BTW the 500/5 will accept speaker-level inputs. Don't need a LOC, just need to wire some RCA ends to your speaker wire.

I will let you know if I decide do move up in price ;)

I dont think it has speaker level inputs...but looks great for the price
