Hello!

I'm getting ready to do my install and would like to know if there's anyone in the Phoenix (preferably the East side) who has the tools and capabilities to tune. This will be my first time using a DSP and I'd love to learn this new skill.

My system will consist of the stock 8.4 Uconnect in my 2019 RAM 1500 Crew Cab. This will feed into a PAC AmpPro to send a clean signal via either optical (2ch stereo) or RCA (6ch F/R/S) into an Alpine PXE-0805S. I'm running 2x Alpine PDX-V9 amps (mainly for upgrade capabilities...thinking 3-way front stage sometime down the road).

Drivers are definitely not high-fidelity (JBL GTO 939s 6x9 in all 4 doors; GTO 329 3 1/2 coax in left, center, and right dash locations, as well as 2 in the rear headliner.

My plan is to use 2 channels to drive the front door 6x9s and 2 channels (albeit turned waaaaaay down) to drive the left and right dash coaxials. I'll use 25watts per channel of the PXE-0805S to drive the center dash and rear coaxials, as well as the 2 rear door 6x9s (rear-fill).

I have a Rockwell sealed enclosure that houses 2x JBL GTO1214D subs. This will probably be changed out for an enclosure housing 4x Image Dynamic ID8s or IDQ8s (budget allowing) very soon after I finish my install.

Yes, I do plan to upgrade all of these drivers as I move forward, but for now, this will be a good starting point to get an idea of my truck's acoustics. I will eventually go with a 3-way front-stage where I can utilize more of the reserve power I'll have available with the remaining channels of the PDX-V9s.

I'd really like to work with someone local to my area to learn how to properly diagnose and correctly tune a system.

Been a long time since I've had the car audio itch. Let's say I am more motivated than I've ever been. Going to be great getting back into the scene! I'm really excited to play around with different drivers and components as time and money will allow!

Thanks!

Chris
