Used to be heavy in to car audio 20 years ago and haven't touched a thing in years and I finally got a new vehicle I wanted to do some work in. I started with some components and some amps. I then realized the bug had bit me harder than I realized and I can't figure out what to do now.
I currently have the follow in my 2014 tundra crew max, going for a nice SQ set up
JL Audio C2-650 Components, tweet in dash using tacotunes adapters in doors and tweet in dash
powered with an old jbl 2 channel amp
JL Audio 500/1 to power an undetermined sub, probably a 12W1 or something else that's shallow enough to fit in a small truck box
I'm thinking of doing a Twk88 and going active on the components with a 300/4 or maybe getting a six channel and doing active front components or going full 3 way with new speakers in the front. I really would like a nice sound stage.
I'm really not sure what equipment to look at these days, that's why I went back to what I knew. I always like the slash amps when they first came out but couldn't afford them. I have a much better budget these day.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
