I have installed Boston Acoustics 5¼ coaxes in the front doors of my 1995 Dodge Dakota. The speaker location is low and forward in the doors which of course presents a low image. Is it wise to add auxiliary tweeters at the top of the doors or 'A' pillars to raise the image? I considered installing components but the distance between the mids and tweeters would be approximately 2 feet which presents it own compromises. Any suggestions?
