Issue: Low volume high pitch whine through my speakers. I only can hear it when the volume is set at 0.

My Setup:
HU: Jensen VM9512. I know I know. Still shouldn't make noise though
Processor: DEQ-9200 - ( Has a rep of staticy noise but not a whine ) - I Searched it.
Amp: eD NINe.5
Wires: Knu Krystal RCA's & Knu Karma speaker wire

What I tried So Far:
1) Common Ground
2) Cable Management ( Power & Ground down Driver ) ( RCA & Speaker down Passenger )
3) Ground RCA's
4) Shielded RCA's
5) Moved Ground around car
6) Ground Loop Isolator ( Freaking waste of money )
7) Home remedy of wrapping RCA's that come out of the unit in foil & tape. ( I was fishing)

Now I come to you guys. Anything I forgot / Need to try short of throwing that damn HU in the lake.

If you have enough output at "1" to override noise then I would wager a guess that your gains down the line are set WAY too high thus causing the S/N ratio to go out the winder.

I was thinking that but the DEQ-9200 puts out a max of 500mv the NINe.5 starts a 300mv up to 8v input sensitivity. I currently have the gains set at the midway point which I don't believe is close to the 500mv gain match ( I could be wrong ). I will play with the gains some more tonight to see what happens.

Well I figured it out. The I guess alt + mem wire (Yellow) from the DEQ-9200 had the be connected to the 12v wire ( Red ). That correct the whine and the stacticy noise also.

Thanks Chad for all the advise. I always appreciate the input.
