anyone ever try making their own sounds for the car? I just ordered a program, seems pretty neat. ...on sale for 399.
Don't know when i'll have time to learn how to use it though.

I've used: Sony Acid, Ableton Live, Fruity Loops Studio, Cakewalk, Rebirth, and a few other programs back when I used to DJ and was into doing mash ups/remixes. Be prepared to be overwhelmed at first and then you are going to need something like Soundforge or even the open source Audacity to get your volume levels correct.
I accidentally downloaded a copy of Fruity Loops like 6 years ago... I could barely get 16 bars worth of a steady beat. OMG so hard!
ok, thanks for the comments....which are helpful because at least I won't feel like an idiot when I find it takes me forever to get the hang of it...most likely will only use it to try to get some clear/unusual sounds to dance across my dash and experiment with how much back and forth stereo I can get :)
