Has one of you got a manual on these that you can scan for me please and email it on to me:D , also how to connect the Men456 up as it has 2 power points? i opend it up and there is a plug in point in it, should there be some thing extra in there like an eq box? or i can control just the Men456 with the hand held controler i got with it?

I sent a message to someone who knows someone that's a McIntosh collector. If he has this unit,I'll get you the info. In the mean time, have you considered contacting Mc Labs directly? A pdf might be an email/fax/pdf file away.
I never knew the controller 459 controlled the crossover. I know it controls the equalizer modules. I can help with the eq modules, but not the crossover. Haven't seen that one before.
If you get bored with the 459 controller, and need to find a home for it, I am in the market for one. They are a real pain to set up. But I would like to have another. Sold mine with my amp awhile back. Let me know if you decide to let it go in the future...

You can plug a MEQ450 or MEQ452 module inside the MEN456. It allows you to have a parametric EQ as well as the crossovers. Both are controlled by the MEC459. You really need to get the English manual or you will be lost. Call the McIntosh parts department at 800-538-6576 to get manuals. They will never answer email.
I too got a MEN455 and controller but unable to get it to work.
Should there be a shorting plug at the plug in point coz I am not running the eq?

Anyone can help?

Regards
