I finally have a pair of lvs' that I've been wanging since highschool. Now I have a pair. Not sure I'll fit a pair in my car. (1999 Ford escort). So I've decided to just have a spare woofer lying around. Might even have someone make me something crazy with it one day.(new soft parts) maybe a bigger magnet. Anyways I'm planning to go sealed because of the small trunk. But this thing has a 11.75" mounting depth. I would also like to be able to get the box in and out. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

seems a shame to go sealed with that woofer, perhaps ported can fit if done right? up firing the sub with the port to the back would likely fit in and out of the trunk.

Been working on it all day that is my conclusion as well. I have one that is pretty much a fresh factory recone and another that is in used condition but still "pretty" in all aspects. Just softer. I have 4 sheets of MDF to play with.
