Peerless SLS 8's are great but out of stock.

Scanspeak 22w's are also good and some of the more efficient 8 inches that could go in a door.

With raw driver's/home speakers make sure to put a speaker baffle with the back cut out or something similar on it to protect from water.

I did love the MB8s when I had them, wouldn't mind running them again honestly, they did lack a little under 120 though... fantastic speaker overall

Would the Stevens Audios not fit the bill?

I'm new to the 8" world and didn't see anything too exciting to me. I did end up getting Blam WS8.100's to try though. So we'll see

I've been eyeballing the W800, I'm just too cheap at this point lol.

If I could fit the Epique 7, I'd be on that one.

I guess you are kind of limited and many things seem really expensive; even those AD W800's. I hope you can get something figured out that puts a smile on your face. Best of luck. I've been fighting getting adjusted to current oprions. My last system was over 20yrs ago and times have changed a lot to me, lol
