Headunit: Kenwood KDC-X995 ($230)
Fronts: Rainbow SLC-265 components (I've owned these. Got them at from a group buy)
Rears: Infinity Reference 5030cs ($100)
Multi-channel amp: Zapco 360.4 ($225 - Just purchased)
Subwoofer: Infinity Basslink ($200)

I picked the Infinity components for the rear because they were $100 and got decent reviews. I'm up for substitutions as long as they are 5.25" components and $100.

The subwoofer I can also be swayed to change, but it needs to be right around $200 and powered. I want a little low-end, but I also value my trunk space.

I've owned a Kenwood Excelon (KDC-X889) in the past and I like that it has a lot of features plus all the crossover / dsp that is included. I could be persuaded away from it, but it would have to be a great argument.

I bought the rainbow's about 6 years ago, but I only ran them about 6 months. I'm excited to hear them again.

Your budget for your radio is $230? Then I would suggest the Alpine CDA 117...
