Figured I'd copy my response to a question regarding this unit vs. the audison Bit One and Bit Ten:

I will say that I don't have any hands-on experience with the audison units. But I did some research and trusted advice from some very knowledgeable people on this forum when I bought it. My previous experience was with the JBL MS8.

I do know that the Bit One is similar to the Helix, but more costly. The Bit Ten doesn't have the processing power of the Helix.

I bought the Helix for two main reasons: Optical input (I had an Audi A6 at the time) and I wanted to try my hand at tuning (versus auto-tune on the MS8).

I'm selling it for two reasons: I don't have the need for optical input any more and I'm OK with allowing the MS8 to do my tuning from here on out lol.

Overall, the P-DSP was and is amazing. It is so flexible and easy to use (once you get the hang of it). I had left a USB cable plugged in so I could mess with my tune any time I wanted and hear real-time results.
