No fuses have blown either on the amp and or the one in between the battery and the amp.
I have it hooked up to the EXT. CONT. and it's voltage is only 2.18?

It's hooked to that and nothing....My bad. It's external amp control.
Thats the P.CONT. wire like I labeled above and I tried hooking it up to that one too still nothingIs there a blue/white wire? Maybe on another harness?
So the red wire in other words? Doesn't the red wire/ignition wire only stay on during the initial ignition?I don't have any experience with that unit. Hopefully someone who does will chime in.
For the time being you can run the remote wire off the amps to a fuse that gets ACC power.
He said he used that one. Either his connection was booty, or there's something wrong with his headunit. You use the blue and white, the one your are using is a special amp control wire for kenwood amps only.
I tried the blue/white and it still didn't turn on the amp.You use the blue and white, the one your are using is a special amp control wire for kenwood amps only.
Nah I got the amps to turn on by switching to that cable but now I got music for like a second and All of this crazy beeping sounds and stuff that were really loud!Yea you must have an issue, the blue and white is amp turn on and should provide 12 volts when the radio is on.
strip that wire bare, test it at the back of the harness hooked up to nothing. If it reads under 12 volts with that radio on something is wrong with your headunit, kinda unlikely but it is a kenwood and thats the only radio ive seen with that problem.
If the wire reads 12 volts you have an issue with your remote wire run
