I have a Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX, and I couldn’t find the metal plate to mount the gps antenna to, so I stuck it on the receiver, but it makes the dash stick up, is it safe to use a scosche magnetic plate mount on dash for the gps antenna? TIA

Yes. Or you can use velcro/two sided tape and mount it inside the dash somewhere else.
