I took the dive and purchased some new Nakamichi equipment try out. By doing so I had to buy multiples of certain items. I have two n40t, one I am keeping for myself, and the other here in the listing for sell. The MSRP is $1,599.95 however I am just wanting to get what I have in it or as close to the original amount back. These are a low production series, this one is number 182. I have unpacked it to make sure it is 100%, has not been used. Please pm me if you have any questions. $1,125 + shipping.

How does it sound and is it comparable to anything?
So far I am impressed with the one I am using. Its hard to explain the sound. I will listen to piano, jazz etc when trying to compare products, essentially music where it is easier to hear differences. I have been comparing it to an Arc Audio SE I have on the bench using Audison AVK6 speakers. It has just as much detail and dynamics as the Arc with a warmer presentation to it, very hard to explain. The build quality is very nice, the controls are laid out well and the controls them self feel solid. There is also a direct dsp option which bypass the crossover as well as gain on the amplifier.

Very sleek looking amplifier, well thought out. It has active fan cooling and it has a hidden vent around the Nakamichi badge where the hot air exhausts. Whoever designed it put a lot of detail into it.
