Hi! I just bought an 05 Chevy Colorado and I've been looking to round out the extremely tinny factory system. So far I have found a sealed Box:

GM CANYON /COLORADO SINGLE 10" REAR CONSOLE

A Sub:

WoofersEtc.com - SD-2 10D4 - Sundown Audio 10" Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofer

And a Head Unit:

Amazon.com: Brand NEW Sony Xplod Cdx-gt630ui Amazing Car Audio Cd/mp3 Receiver with 52x4 Watt Amp and Usb Input and Detachable Face + Ipod Interface Built in + 3 Sets of Pre-amp Outputs *Free $20.00 Mp3/ipod Cable*: Car Electronics

Now I just need a nice mono Amp that can push at least 500W RMS @ 2ohms without breaking the bank or sacrificing sound quality...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dominic

A refurbed SAX-1200D maybe a 1500D off db-r? They're relatively cheap. AQ 1200. I'm just suggesting these amps so if you decided to add another sub you could wire it at 1 ohm and you'd be fine power wise. Honestly the amps "sound quality" in the subbass region is going to be the least of your worries :p
